Brompton e-bike bag frame catch

Some earlier electric Bromptons had issues maintaining electric connection and assistance over bumps. Brompton brought out a new 'e-bike bag frame catch' which improved the connection between the battery and the bike. 

If your electric brompton has the all black frame catch as per photo, then you should install this grey one in its place. These items are free of charge, but freight is payable.
